Part I — Privacy Policy

1. Privacy as Our Sacred Foundation

Privacy, human dignity, and authentic self-determination are the core reasons Animus Resonance (also known as Resonantia) exists. We believe that modern social media, algorithmic matchmaking, and dating platforms have corrupted human connection through surveillance capitalism, photo commodification, invasive location tracking, and psychological manipulation.

Resonance was built from day one as an uncompromising counter-model: an opt-in connection network founded on radical initial anonymity, mathematical concordance, bilateral progressive disclosure, and total cryptographic security. Privacy is not a secondary feature; it is our sacred, non-negotiable principle.

2. Zero-Spyware Commitment & Transparent Network Auditability

We believe that genuine privacy must be provable through technical verification, not blind trust.

  • Absolute Zero-Spyware Guarantee: The Animus Resonance mobile and web applications contain zero spyware, zero adware, zero third-party tracking SDKs, and zero commercial behavioral profiling tools.
  • Strict Network Call Minimization: Our applications never initiate calls to any server or service that is not strictly, indispensably required for the operation of the network (such as checking graph concordance, delivering encrypted messages, or synchronizing voice notes).
  • Publicly and Independently Auditable: We engineered the application's network layer with total transparency. Any user, developer, or cybersecurity researcher can easily verify our claims by inspecting the network traffic of the Resonance app in real time using standard packet inspection and monitoring tools (such as Wireshark, Little Snitch, mitmproxy, Charles Proxy, or mobile proxy inspection). You will observe zero background pings to data brokers, zero hidden beacons, and zero unprompted telemetry.

3. The Animus Prerequisite & Graph Data Handling

Resonance relies exclusively on your Animus thought graph to calculate compatibility:

  • Mathematical Concordance Only: Resonance measures vector alignment across the dilemmas you answered in Animus. Other users never see your individual vote breakdown, your personal question history, or your raw data. They only see an aggregate concordance percentage (e.g., 94% alignment) and high-level themes where both minds resonate.
  • Opt-In Resonance Pool: Your Animus account is never entered into the Resonance matching engine unless you explicitly and voluntarily download and activate Resonance.
  • Zero Third-Party Data: We do not purchase external social media profiles, phone contacts, or advertising identifiers to find matches. Compatibility is calculated strictly from your active, conscious thought choices.

4. Double-Blind Progressive Disclosure Protocol

Resonance protects your personal identity through a multi-tiered, cryptographic disclosure mechanism:

  • Radical Initial Blindness: All matches begin with zero photographs, zero real names, zero social handles, and zero external identifiers.
  • Bilateral Mutual Consent: Unlocking deeper layers of communication (text chat -> voice notes -> real identities) requires explicit, independent approval from both participants.
  • The Double-Blind Guarantee: When a user taps to unlock the next layer (such as revealing names and photos), the other user is not notified unless they also tap unlock. If either party chooses not to advance, neither identity is ever revealed. There is zero risk of one-sided exposure or social rejection.

5. Cryptographic Security & End-to-End Encryption

Every interaction across Resonance is protected by enterprise-grade cryptographic protocols:

  • Encryption in Transit & At Rest: All communications between your device and our servers use encrypted TLS 1.3 channels. Persistent database records are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
  • End-to-End Encrypted Communications: Text chats and exchanged voice notes are encrypted end-to-end. Our servers cannot inspect or read your private conversations.
  • Optional Replica Persona Preview: If you choose to connect Animus Replica, your digital persona acts as an asynchronous ambassador under your strict supervision and rules.

6. Irrevocable & Permanent Deletion Protocol ("Right to Absolute Erasure")

You retain absolute sovereignty over your participation in Resonance:

  • Strict Pre-Deletion Authentication Protocols: To prevent accidental account loss or malicious unauthorized requests, account deletion requests must complete a strict authentication protocol to confirm ownership.
  • Complete, Irrevocable & Permanent Deletion: Upon confirmed request, your Resonance account, active matches, chat histories, audio recordings, and resonance links are permanently and irrevocably wiped from all active database clusters.
  • Zero Possibility of Recovery / No Shadow Copies: We do not perform deceptive "soft-deletes" or keep shadow archives. Once the purge is executed, your data is mathematically unrecoverable and cannot be restored by anyone, including Animus engineers.

Part II — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or accessing the Animus Resonance application or website, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility & Ecosystem Prerequisite

  • Resonance is intended for individuals aged 18 and older.
  • Resonance requires active participation in the Animus ecosystem. You must maintain an active Animus account with calibrated dilemma responses to calculate compatibility.

3. Lawful & Respectful Conduct

Resonance is a sanctuary for authentic human thought. You agree to use the platform with dignity, empathy, and respect. Harassment, abuse, non-consensual exploitation, impersonation, or malicious conduct will result in immediate and permanent revocation of access.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is". While Resonance employs advanced graph algorithms to identify genuine philosophical and ethical concordance, human relationships depend on individual character, free will, and personal responsibility.
